A tale of despair, sadness, growth, and maturation. The integral concepts behind the debut project from Dezmond, entitled 'crimson rose, 2008.', are meant to envelop the listener within the warm embrace in which his soul needed for so long over the course of a decade.

"Each song is meant to be a year in my life. From the year 2008 to 2018, showing just how low I was and how I could've become an entirely different person based on the circumstances I would find myself in. But instead, I became a man capable of understanding and growing with or alongside these demons, these flaws. And they make me stronger each and every day."

With hypnotic instrumentals layered with hard hitting flows on tracks like "Think Twice", which has a feature from one of the DMV's finest up and coming artists Bam Alexander, to more transparent and honest tracks that are filled front to back with emotional lyrics such as "One Way Ticket to Rome" or "Journal Entry #1", this project does it all. It shows the room he has filled with exponential growth, but also how much more growing he has to do. And for him, that's the most worthwhile knowledge to attain in one's lifetime.
